To date, three units have been sold at 32 Gilstead, with prices ranging from $14.4 million ($3,431 per square foot) for a 4,198 square foot corner unit on the second floor, to $14.54 million ($3,455 per square foot) for a 4,209 square foot corner unit on the third floor.
According to the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) data, two of these units were acquired by Singapore permanent residents (PRs), while the third was purchased by a Singapore citizen.

Exclusive and Unique Offerings
32 Gilstead stands out as one of two new projects launched in the Core Central Region (CCR) in the second quarter of 2024.
Designers Renowned in the Luxury Space
The freehold development of 32 Gilstead comprises three adjoining five-storey blocks, each containing only one unit per floor. These four-bedroom apartments range in size from 3,821 to 4,291 square feet, boasting a frontage of up to 14.7 meters that spans the living, dining, and lounge bar areas. The living room extends to a 9-meter-long balcony, offering picturesque views of the bamboo garden.
The granite and glass façade of 32 Gilstead reflects the signature style of Argentinian architect Ernesto Bedmar, known for designing luxury bungalows in Singapore’s prime districts and villas in Delhi and Jakarta.
Japanese Zen Buddhist monk and landscape designer Shunmyo Masuno is designing a bamboo garden that features walking trails, reflective pools, seating areas, and stones imported from Japan. This tranquil garden will occupy approximately half of the site, providing residents with a serene and contemplative environment.

Innovative and Thoughtful Design
“No one has ever created a bamboo garden of this scale in a residential development before, and we sought to design a garden that is tranquil and unobtrusive for the residents of these $14 million to $15 million homes,” says Wee Teng Yuan, Deputy Director of Kheng Leong. His father, Wee Ee Chao, serves as CEO and Director of Kheng Leong, a real estate firm established in 1949. Wee Ee Chao is also the son of the late banker and businessman Wee Cho Yaw.
At 32 Gilstead, the clubhouse is ingeniously designed within one of the ground-floor units, featuring a dining room that can accommodate up to 14 people. Additional recreational facilities, including the children’s pool, adults’ lap pool, and barbecue pit, are situated on the rooftop, providing residents with ample leisure opportunities.

Meticulous Interior Design
The interiors of 32 Gilstead were meticulously crafted by Osaka-born, Singapore-based interior designer Koichiro Ikebuchi.
According to Teng Yuan, the living and dining areas will feature timber flooring, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen will be adorned with Italian porcelain tiles, Middle Eastern quartz countertops, and premium Gaggenau kitchen appliances from Germany. The master bathroom will showcase Italian mosaic tiles and marble countertops, complemented by ash wood laminate cabinetry.

Home buyers have the option of incorporating timber partition doors to separate the family room from the living room, a feature particularly advantageous for families with children who enjoy entertaining guests. Positioned behind the family room are the kitchen and the bedrooms, ensuring a functional and well-organized living space.
Ultra-Large Format Homes
Construction is currently underway at 32 Gilstead, with completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2026. “When it comes to higher-end projects, seeing is believing,” states Teng Yuan. “With just 14 units, every sale is important.”
